MapTrax produces street maps compiled from Melway (Melbourne), Ballarat, Brisway (Brisbane) and Sydway (Sydney and Central Coast) Street Directories as a mosaic tile map in ECW format (plus Ozfx3). The maps are available in three scales as one map file. The maps are fully geo-referenced and calibrated using a differential GPS receiver.
The maps can be used with the moving map software and a laptop connected to a hand held GPS receiver, providing a simple vehicle navigation system.

The portfolio of city street maps is continually expanding. Our city map products are reproductions of street directories generally at a scale of 1:20,000, showing all streets. Some inner city areas are covered at scales of 1:10,000.
All maps (except PDF yellow pages) are fully geo-referenced and are suitable for use with GPS derived positions. For accurate positioning on maps at scales of less than 1:100,000, high accuracy (differential GPS) satellite-positioning systems are recommended.
The search features for OziExplorer have been completely updated with new data from Ausway. At present the CD-Rom includes an up to date Street index, and Suburb Postcode index.
We hope to add the other name search features back in as Ausway geo-reference their datapoints during the year ( currently all in Ausway Grid reference rather than geographic co-ordinates)
